Jamie Anderson a native of California, who calls herself a “Free Spirit”, successfully defends her gold medal in women’s snowboard slope style at the 2018 Winter Olympics, but its her interview after her big win that caught our attention. Here is what she says:
“I have like a little altar set up at every hotel,” Anderson says. “It’s pretty sweet.” For the Olympics, she packed crystals — smoky quartz and clear quartz — a piece of bark, seed from a Hawaiian temple, and various essential oils. She brought frankincense and lavender to the mountain for her Olympic coronation.”
Let’s decode the “magic” that helped bring Jamie her gold medal:
“seed” from a hawaiian temple: Seeds are magic, potent vessels of nature. They hold entire intelligent blueprints for life. It has a warm and rich fragrance and said to be best used for times of stress and anxiety. It is also said to focus a restless soul, alleviate mental fatigue and mend a broken heart.”
lavendar: “it’s native to The Mediterranean. It is valued for its ability to balance the emotions, retire vitality for nervous exhaustion and calming effect for sleeplessness.”
“Crystals open the mind and heart to higher guidance, allowing the realm of Spirit to be transmitted and translated into the world of physical form.”
smokey quartz: “grounding in an uplifting kind of way, the smoky quartz also provides a subtle energy of protection and balance, power for healing, clarity, and soothing vibes.”
clear quartz: clear quartz meaning is partially based in the belief that it is the “supreme gift of Mother Earth.” Enhanced connections with all earthly elements are at the heart of clear quartz meaning. It’s powers benefit everyday thoughts and feelings as well as actions and words.
It’s this “magic” she says that helped her keep a clear head and positive vibes.
